Congratulations to the winners of the 2024 Awards of Excellence

The Fredrickson-McGregor Education Foundation for Licensed Practical Nurses is pleased to announce the winners of the 2024 Awards of Excellence. These awards honor Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who display outstanding leadership, education, and nursing practice skills, as well as non-LPN healthcare leaders committed to creating exceptional practice environments.

By celebrating these achievements, we aim to recognize the dedication and vital contributions of LPNs and healthcare leaders in our community.

The Fredrickson-McGregor Education Foundation for LPNs is a non-profit organization distributes educational grants to enhance nursing knowledge, skills and ability, and the awards program honors nursing achievements.

Your donations make a significant impact, empowering us to continue to support LPNs in our community with grants and recognition.


Pat Fredrickson Excellence in Leadership

Jenny Lyne Ison, LPN, was awarded the Pat Fredrickson Excellence in Leadership Award for her commitment to professionalism and leadership in the workplace. Jenny’s professionalism, integrity, and ability to inspire others make her a truly deserving recipient of this award.

Rita McGregor Excellence in Nursing Education

Rhea Faye Caesar Argeulles, LPN, received the Rita McGregor Excellence in Nursing Education Award for her dedication to nursing education and mentorship. Rhea’s guidance and support to students and new LPNs will allow the next generation of nurse to reach their full potential.

Laura Crawford Excellence in Nursing Practice

Mahalia Gladney, LPN, earned the Laura Crawford Excellence in Nursing Practice Award for her exemplary nursing knowledge, teamwork, mentoring, and pride in the profession. Mahalia’s commitment to professionalism and dedication to providing top-quality care to patients is inspiring.

Interprofessional Development

Anna Jalosinski was honored with the Interprofessional Development Award for her instrumental role in fostering collaboration, leadership, and professional development within the healthcare team. Her leadership and dedication to fostering a collaborative practice environment sets a high standard for teamwork.

Each LPN winner received a $1,000 prize, and all winners were presented with a commemorative crystal award. The recipients were selected by a committee from the Fredrickson-McGregor Education Foundation for LPNs.
